Popular Science- Data is Power The background is blue with a hand in the middle and a light coming out of it, pointing to the titles. The title is white and big with the featured articles on the left side in bold and black, showing their importance.   Some of the articles featured are the "The Control Centers" on page 52, "New Ways of Seeing" on page 69, and "Officer Algorithm" on page 59. All of these articles are about data and technology which is in the same topic as my magazine.   The ads in the magazine are mostly towards the end but spread out through the magazine as well. They involve information about medications, cars, and other adult things pointing towards an adult demographic.   The distribution number is 169,000 and has been nominated for many awards such as best website and magazine, but has won few of them.

Scientific American - The Unsolved Problem   The background is purple going from dark to light towards the center. It has a popping title in the middle of the magazine that catches the eye. The title is white and black that contrasts with the background color. In the bottom left corner are the featured articles in white and some yellow.   One featured article is "Click, Lies, and Videotapes" on page 38 which is about getting ready for the era of fake videos. Another is on page 44, "Earthquakes in the Sky" which is about a theory for predicting disasters.   The advertisements are mainly found at the beginning and end, but some are still in the middle. Some of the ads are about insurance companies, wine, hospital's, books, and medication. This shows that the magazine is directed towards middle-aged people from 30s to 50s.   The distribution number for Scientific American is 130,000. National Geographic- Atlas of Space       The cover of this magazine has a black background with yellow borders and the National Geographic emblem in the upper left corner also surrounded  by a yellow border. This yellow border is a signature for their magazines. The black background and the white title really makes it easy for the reader to focus on what the magazine is about. Also the yellow subtitle are really eye catching. The main articles are listed on the top of the magazine while the bottom is empty making does articles on the top pop out.      The top articles of this magazine inform you about the universe and the milky way. Titles includes are "The Kuper Belt and the Oort Cloud" on page 64, "The Milky Way" on page 72, "The Sun" on page 76, and "Pluto" on page 56. Consumer Reports- New Cars Preview 2016        This magazine welcomes you with a new Mazda and the new look of it showing what the future is about to bring.The tittle has big bold white letters that lead to the shiny red car under it that makes you want to get it. The background is of a street and the car is moving fast on it so it creates the allusion as if the car was moving toward you. Under the red car there appears another car that is blue it has their most important articles all of them including high technology titles.The bright colors that are utilize really make you look to the future and see does cars in the streets one day.        The article that re included are some like Auto safety survey, luxury SUVs. The entire magazine is about cars and their futuristic technology, and what the cars of the future will be able to do. Smithsonian- Building the Future.         The cover has a very futuristic look with dark background. It incorporates white and blue titles that make you focus on what the magazine is all about. The details of a man looking at a robot leg and all of the circuits really makes it pop.         The main article in the magazine are about the new technology and how the future is going to look. In my opinion the magazine will be a perfect fit for me. I possess good artistic skills that could help with the front cover of the magazine, and also I can draw the pictures that correspond with the article.The topic will be technology, which will include any new inventions that will be created in the near future or that are happening at the time. I'm going to work with one other person to achieve my goal of making a great article about technology.We will get together after school and during school to create a magazine dedicated to our favorite topic that is technology. I will like doing a film production, the film gives me a great opportunity to experience that felling that producers get when the finish their product. I will like to write the script as that gives the freedom of telling the actors what to do, how to act, and how they need to be. I will also love to act in the movie, i'm a little shy but acting in a movie that i write will feel great as i can be wherever i want. I founded out that I was into films when we saw the documentary on Ferris Buller Days Off , it was great how the producer was angry at sometimes but at the end was happy. I don't want to do any of the editing as is super hard a long and i will have to cut parts of the film which i wont like. There are other things that i wouldn't want to do like piking the music or the places where the film will take place as i hate picking anything.
